Honorable Minister of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Dipu Moni MP with Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University, Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Md. Shah Azam met courtesy and exchanged greetings.
At the same time, both of them remembered Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the Bengali nation, the dreamer of Rabindra University, and expressed their gratitude to Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, for making Bangabandhu's dream a reality.
Later, during a long discussion on Rabindra University, Bangladesh, the Honorable Minister urged to give priority to Rabindranath Tagore in the provision of excellence in education, culture, non-discrimination and establishment of humane society. He said that he has a special fondness for Rabindra University, adding that he does all kinds of research on the university. Recently, he has noticed the spontaneity seen in the celebration of various national days, including the dynamic educational activities of the university. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor thanked all the teachers, students and staff of the University for this.
He called for speedy construction of university infrastructure and promised all-out cooperation. At the same time, he advised the Honorable Vice-Chancellor to prepare an academic master plan. He promised the Vice-Chancellor that he would visit Rabindra University soon.
At the end of the exchange of views, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University, Prof. Md. Shah Azam thanked the Minister on behalf of all the teachers, students and staff of Rabindra University.
